Location
The SOREA Máj Hotel*** is situated in the exquisite scenery of the Low Tatras National Park at the entrance to the Jánska valley, one of the most scenic valleys of the Low Tatras. The hotel is located at the outskirts of the historical town Liptovský Ján. The interior and exterior are suitable not only for family holidays, it is also suitable for relaxation stays, skiing trips, sport trips, seminars, congresses, trainings courses, presentations, workshops, company events, team-building activities, as well as social gatherings. Near the hotel are many cycling and hiking paths of various difficulty levels and ski centre Javorovica (2 ski lifts, maintained pistes with total length of 1.900 m).
Accommodation
Completely refurbished hotel offers accommodation in modern single and double rooms, family rooms, apartments, and rooms for disabled guests. All rooms are equipped with TV with SAT programme, radio, telephone, safe, toilet, bath and a balcony. Rooms for disabled guests are equipped with a shower. For more demanding guests we offer apartments, consisting of 2 rooms (bedroom and living room) equipped with TV with SAT programme, radio, telephone, safe, fridge, toilet, bath and a balcony. Highest level of comfort is provided in a two-storey APARTMÁN DE LUXE with own terrace on the top floor of the hotel. Hotel does not accommodate pets.
Catering services
Catering services are provided by the hotel restaurant offering wide selection of international meals and local specialities. Breakfast is served in a form of warm and cold buffet offering a wide selection of dishes and drinks, lunch and dinner are served, offering a selection of 4-5 main courses including a vegetarian menu. Hotel guests are also welcome in our aperitif bar or the bistro.

Thermal water with healing properties from the Rudolf spring is suitable for treatment of rheumatic diseases, female reproductive organ complaints, skin diseases, locomotive diseases. It is also used for drinking and is suitable for treatment of metabolism disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, gall-bladder and liver diseases, blood pressure disorders and allergies. Water is mineralized, highly carbonic, contains hydro carbonic-sulphate and, calcium-sulphide, and has hypotonic properties.
